This beautiful newborn baby girl is just so very beautiful. So much amazing brown hair, such petite, darling features. I think I could have cuddled her all day.
This girls mama is an amazing photographer and so of course knew all the things to do before-hand to make sure baby N was set to go for her session.
This little girl started the session all stretchy and wide-eyed. After a while (and a good snack) she was set to drift off to sleepy-land.
I'm always amazed at how quick newborn photos go once baby finds their sleepy spot. Baby N did great and had some gorgeous set-ups and transitions.
So how can you make sure baby pictures go well for your little one? Here are a few tips.
1. Focus on a full-feeding right before. I get that baby's ultimately decide when to eat but work to keep baby awake and eating right before you come. (If it doesn't work out, you can also feed them here!).
2. Don't let baby sleep all day before photos. If you can, give them a bath, play with them, just help them to get in some awake time so that they will be ready for sleep. We will also schedule your session to help accommodate this.
3. Relax. The most important thing to do for yourself and your newborn is to leave worry behind. I have worked with dozens of babies many who didn't eat well, weren't at all tired, or otherwise struggled. Every single one ended up with beautiful images in unique ways. Don't stress. We've got this!
Enjoy!
