Newborns are tiny. Their little features, and soft fine hair, everything about them is tiny.
Little Mara was no exception. This little girl was so tired for her session, she slept right through her outfit change and we started out posing her in a bucket!
I never start out this way, because babies so often are awake when we first start their session. Baby Mara's mommy had prepared her well, feeding her extra, and giving her plenty of wake-time all morning (there were so many great things this mommy did to prepare for her newborn session)
Mara was so easy to mold and so content to snooze her session away, so it wasn't until little baby Mara totally didn't fit into an outfit we'd picked out that I asked how big she was at birth. She was over 9 lbs! Way to go mama! This just made everything about her new baby back rolls so cute!
Best of all was the sibling-love Mara saw at her session. She actually grinned big when big brother went to give her kisses- melt my heart! Her big sister was so amazing in front of the camera, and loved her little sis so much!
This family was beautiful, and little Mara rocked her newborn session!
