Child photography is a wonderful journey. I get to see first hand the amazing changes in my clients as they grow from new babies into beautiful kids.
Addi is seriously one of my favorite little clients. Her addictive smile, and laugh just spread to everyone around her. She is a favorite of my girls too who love all the amazing things this only grandchild has to share :)
Plus, she has the most beautiful curly hair.
When doing birthday photo shoots, there are always a few things to consider. First, obviously is finding a photographer who can capture beautiful images on a budget. It's also important to consider things like, how much "birthday" do you want included in the form of balloons or other props? What are you using these images for? Just birthday invitations? Maybe pictures for grandma's wall? Depending on what you want to use your image for, you'll want to adjust the look and feel of your set-up.
Addi's mom clued me into the outfit she wanted Addi to wear and we went through background options from there. I love this backdrop, which is feminine without being too girly and will work for birthday pictures, or even well-wishes come Easter.
Studio portraits, whether for newborns, or big kids are beautiful, fun, and if you are lucky like me, full of the magic of childhood.
Enjoy!
