Easter Portraits

Happy almost Easter! This year, we kept Easter minis short, sweet and simple. We had live bunnies so of course we didn't need much else to have some fun, beautiful shots. Here are a few highlights from Easter pictures.

Baby Boy J: Logan, Utah Newborn Photographer

Oh, this darling little red-haired boy stole my heart!

I had the privilege of doing his older brother's newborn portraits a few years ago, and this little one fits in so well to his family- though the red hair was quite a surprise! (Older brother had so much dark brown hair for his photos).

Newborn studio sessions are fabulous because they allow me to capture the whole family at such a precious, wonderful time. This family did fabulous and they are so photogenic.

The main concern for most parents bringing siblings to newborn shoots, especially when they are little, is that there may be trouble from older brother/sister. No need to worry! While toddlers are curious and love to move, I have so many fun tricks to ensure we get a beautiful shot, without any headaches.

We used a few different tricks and soon brother was all smiles (maybe not for the baby, but who cares?).

This family again reminds me why I love what I do. Getting to know the amazing families of Cache Valley and capture their big moments is the best thing I could do!

Baby M: Logan Utah Newborn Photographer

This beautiful little boy and his parents are so photogenic! He was such a sweet little baby, with the tiniest baby wrinkles.

He slept so contently throughout his session and loved curling up in these different poses. We were able to get lots of different looks for his sweet mama.

His parents chose the Studio newborn session, which is the largest session I offer and comes with darling family pictures, as well as prop and bean bag photos. Parents often ask about what kinds of shots we do during the studio session. The answer really is that we work with what baby is comfortable doing and what the parents want.

Some parents love the look of a little pants and hat set, some parents are adamant that baby's diaper stay on the whole time, still others bring in a fun prop that is important to them. Every family and baby is going to be unique and it's important to capture that!
